Bean to Bar
This course is for anyone who loves chocolate! You will learn how to prepare chocolate and use it for making different types of chocolate bars. You will also learn how to flavour the chocolate and add inclusions to not only taste great, but look amazing too. You will then package these bars ready to take home with you (3x100g handmade bars of chocolate). You will also learn how to make chocolate from cocoa beans. Whilst you are working through each step of the chocolate-making process, you will glean some fascinating facts about chocolate. Finally, you will learn how to make a caramel chocolate, which you will then temper and pour into chocolate bar moulds. You will then decorate this bar and package it to take home (1 x 40g bar) The workshop runs for approximately 2.5 - 3 hours Cost: £75 per person
Chocolate truffles and filled chocolates
This course is for anyone wanting to learn how to make delicious and professional chocolates. You will make a selection of truffles and filled chocolates and will take your beautifully crafted chocolates home with you (approximately 10 truffles and 24 filled chocolates). You will start by learning how to make and flavour ganache. You will then pipe the ganache into chocolate moulds. You will then cap off the chocolates to seal them. You will then learn how to temper chocolate and will use this melted chocolate to coat the truffles. Following this, you will roll your truffles in an outer decoration of your choice. Finally, you will release your filled chocolates from their moulds and have the chance to decorate them using fine piping skills. You will then package your chocolates into beautiful gift presentation boxes to take home with you. The workshop runs for approximately 2.5 - 3 hours Cost: £75 per person
Chocolate based gifts
During this course, you will learn professional chocolate making skills. You will make Florentines, chocolate dipped candied orange, and truffles, which you will package in your handmade chocolate bowl. All of these make perfect Christmas gifts. You will take home approximately 9 Florentines, 14 truffles, 15 orange sticks and one chocolate bowl. You will start by learning how to make perfect Florentines, the base of which you will coat in chocolate. You will learn the art of chocolate tempering, so that when it sets, it will retain a nice snap and will not develop any unsightly white bloom. This tempered chocolate will then be used to coat your truffle centres, your Florentines and your crystalised orange sticks. Finally, you will package your chocolate gifts using beautiful boxes and ribbons and take them home with you. The workshop runs for approximately 2.5 - 3 hours Cost: £75 per person
Private group courses
Our chocolate workshops are not only a great way to learn a new skill, but they are also enormous fun and an opportunity to enjoy yourself with friends and family. We offer bespoke chocolate workshops for groups of up to 10 people. An ideal event for Hen parties or team building exercises. Family/children's chocolate making workshop
Would you like to spend some fun time in the kitchen with your family? This hands-on workshop is for families who would like to try their hand at chocolate making and gain skills that they can repeat at home. You will learn about how chocolate is made and taste some different chocolate types. You will then roll some truffles ready for dipping in chocolate and coating in a range of delicious toppings. You will learn how to temper chocolate so that it sets correctly and you will use this chocolate to make a chocolate bar and then to dip your truffles and other items such as honeycomb. Whilst your chocolate products are setting, you will use some fine piping skills to decorate your chocolate bar. Finally, you will package your chocolates to take home. You will take home approximately 10 chocolate truffles, one chocolate bar and a bag of chocolate dipped goodies. MINIMUM AGE: 8 years old The workshop runs for approximately 2 hours Cost: £45 per person
Truffles in a chocolate bowl
This course is for anyone wanting to learn how to make delicious and professional looking truffles. You will learn how to make a ganache and pipe this into truffles. You will then learn how to temper chocolate and use this to make a chocolate bowl and to coat your truffles. Once dipped in chocolate, you will hand roll your truffles in coatings of your choice. These will then be arranged in your chocolate bowl. You will take home a chocolate bowl containing approximately 15 truffles. The workshop runs for approximately 2.5 hours Cost: £55 per person
Children's Birthday Parties
What child doesn't love chocolate? We provide the perfect setting for your child's birthday party event. During this workshop, the children will have a fantastic, fun time making a variety of chocolate products. They will make a bar of chocolate and decorate this with a varity of fun toppings. They will also make 2 chocolate pigs out of marshmallows and then chocolate dip a range of items such as pretzels, popcorn and honeycomb. Every child will take home a 40g bar of chocolate and a bag of chocolate dipped goodies. So there's no need for a party bag! We take a minimum of 8 children and a maximum of 10 children. What to wear
We suggest that you wear comfortable shoes as you will probably want to stand whilst making and decorating the chocolates. Although an apron is provided, small amounts of chocolate may accidentally come into contact with your clothes and therefore you may wish to wear clothing that is easily washable. The room is maintained at a temperature of around 20C as this is necessary when working with chocolate.

Who are courses suitable for?
Anyone over the age of 14 years* who wants to learn the art of chocolate making!** No experience is necessary as our staff will guide you through each step of the way.
* Anyone under the age of 16 needs to be accompanied by an over 18 year old
**The Family chocolate making workshop is open to anyone over the age of 10 years old
